A Changed Life – Tima

Tima was born in Lagos, Nigeria, and grew up around church, but as he got older it started to feel forced. When he moved away for boarding school in Kenya, and later came to Canada for university, faith faded into the background and life started drifting.

This is a story about pressure, identity, and the pull of destructive choices. It’s also a story about how Jesus met Tima when things got real, how God protected him when his path was heading somewhere dark, and how one honest Christian friendship helped him see that faith isn’t an inherited routine, it’s a relationship.

Today, Tima shares how a new community at Living Hope changed everything, and how Christ gave him a new direction, a new purpose, and a place to belong.
